The steelmaker had a net profit of Rs 49.50 bn in the year ended March 31, 2009, Tata Steel said. (BS) | | • | Hindustan Petroleum Corporation plans to invest Rs. 300 bn to set up a 15-16 million tonnes-a-year refinery on the west coast. The refinery, which may be in Raigad district of Maharashtra, is being mulled to make up for space constraint that its Mumbai refinery faces at present. (BS) | | • | Mahindra & Mahindra announced that it will acquire 55.2% stake in electric carmaker Reva, marking its entry into the alternative fuel-based passenger vehicle space.
